Although the product we utilise is non-toxic, food safe, pet safe and fabric safe, it can leave an unpleasant taste in your mouth if consumed. We do ask that for your own benefit that any food as well as any utensils that typically come into contact with the mouth (eg. toothbrushes, cutlery, children’s toys, pet toys and bowls etc.) please be placed into an isolated area such as a pantry or closet. The product will also leave a residue on surfaces it comes into contact with, we do suggest that wherever possible you do not remove this residue post treatment as when left to air dry, will form a protective coating and prevent micro-organisms from forming over a longer period and will biodegrade over time. However, we understand that for some areas of the home this may not be desirable. In this case we ask that you please cover any areas you do not want the product to come into contact with using a drop sheet, blanket etc. We also ask that pets that are required to stay in an indoor tank be covered, as while this product is airborne it is a respiratory irritant and could disturb pH levels in water tanks.
